Post-extraction pain and likely infection

Good morning,

Three days ago I had #20 extracted in lieu of a root canal. The oral surgeon the dentist sent me to scoffed at my request for her to remove the ligaments and other soft tissue that held the tooth in the socket--she said they were microscopic and would take care of themselves. I didn't do the Hulda Clark hot pack routine--it was too strange when numb and too much bother after that--but was pretty good by only taking water the first day, clearish liquids the second, and blended bananas, boiled milk, boiled soy milk on the third day. I have been on Ibuprofen 600s 3-4 times/day for pain and have been rinsing and gently irrigating with a syringe after each "meal" and before bed with dental bleach, warm salt water, food-grade hydrogen peroxide and occasionally some Lugol's iodine. Then last night--the evening of the third day--I went to my college alumni party where I broke down and gorged on organic fresh pizza and salad along with whipped cream and strawberries! I rushed home and did alot of rinsing and irrigating.

I still have pain on that whole side of the jaw, especially near the site and suspect I may not have beaten the infection. What do you suggest? Have you ever used Miracle-Mineral-Supplement for post-surgical infection clean-up? Even if the cavitation had been cleaned, how do you recommend people follow-up to restore healthy tissue? And by the way, where do you practice?
