Jesana, I am so sorry to hear about the staff's insensitivity to yours. Are you a resident or fellow worker there? As a resident I would think you could get a Dr's note saying that you need accomodation. The dish detergent you mentioned is HORRIBLE!!!!My work used to get automatic dishwasher detergent that made it so I had to sit with my head out the window when the dishes were being done. Everyone smoked there so I don't think any of them even slightly understood what I was talking about. I am currently applying to nursing school after working as a CNA my whole life and am dreading the hospital chemicals. I plan on doing homecare. It is so frustrating being surrounded by all these mass consciousness people who don't realize that these products are harming them...we just get it first...the canaries in the mine shaft so to speak. We are like the people who stopped smoking 60 years ago because they figured out it was bad back then! Just want you to know you are not alone. I am looking for a new home right now and feeling really scared at finding a place that I can afford with people who also get why not to use these chemicals. It is hard to be ahead of the game, keep loving yourself and dreaming of a world where sensitivity is valued and valuable, that is what I do. Also if you can get attuned to Reiki, if you feel drawn, it has helped my allergies immensely. Much love and light to you.
