completely horrible allergies caused by Mirena

I got my mirena Nov 08, removed Feb 09.

Still having issues.

I also have completely horrible allergies, and had started allergy shots in November also (about 3 weeks after inserting Mirena). It seemed like my tingling, etc. got worse at about that point.

I stopped allergy shots after 3 weeks because I initially thought that was the cause of my problems, but then nothing got better, and I found out about the Mirena side effects here, and realized that was the culprit.

Now my allergist wants me to start shots again. he says I will be healthier in the long run, not have to be on constant prescription meds for allergies, etc.

I am worried. I feel like my body is still all messed up and this will just be adding another thing on top of how screwed up I already am. I have explained to him how badly I felt, but you know how this is - you feel it inside but look okay on the outside. So I am not sure he is understanding the gravity of how sick I felt.

What would you all do? Part of me says allergy shots should have nothing to do with all this, but part of me says that adding a bunch of allergens into my body is not the thing to do right now.
