Lichen Sclerosis anyone?

My sister was recently diagnosed ( FINALLY!!! ) with Lichen Sclerosis, so I thought I would look around for some alternative advice and support. I know it is an autoimmune disorder, and that she is stuck with it for life (she is 60, and menopaus has been a nightmare for her ), but I was wondering if anyone has had any luck lessening the symptoms?? She just finished her first Master Cleanse ( easily ) and hopes to do it 4 times a year ). She didnt lose more than a couple of pounds either!!
I think she may have a cyst on her Thyroid.H er endocrine doctor doosn t seem to be worried about ( her hormone levels are within the normal range ), but her Naturopath has her on lots of tintures because of it.
Any advice or support would be helpful.
