Seeking help for a friend's kidney stone.

I don't follow the kidney stone forum or know anything about kidney stones or cleansing but I was hoping to find some help for a friend. She has a kidney stone that she describes as follows:

"Due to the size and location of my stone, I'm told I'm not a candidate for lithotripsy (shock wave therapy) or laser surgery. My biggest stone is a little smaller than a dime. They would have to do what is called "splitting" the kidney. They would make an incision in my side, slice thru my kidney and retrieve the stone. Then stitch me back up."

She has no health insurance so anything that she can do on her own would be wonderful.
