If the blood test results is supposed to be at the top of the range like it's supposed to be for the 24 hr saliva cortisol test, then yes, it sounds like you have adrenal fatigue. Look at the link on Stopthethyroidmadness.com site "Those Durn Adrenals" and do the Self Discovery Steps. If they point to adrenal fatigue, then look into getting the 24 hr saliva cortisol test done. It will confirm if you have high cortisol or low cortisol. High cortisol is the early stages of adrenal fatigue and low cortisol occurs in the latter stages. You can also have both high and low cortisol during the 24 hr period, just to make things more interesting.

Do you:

Crave salt?
Have insomnia (usually high cortisol)?
Have heart palps or pounding heart -- especially at night?
Do you get upset easily?
Do you get anxiety attacks?

These are some of the symptoms of adrenal fatigue.
