@@ Looking for reassurance, has anyone had similar symptoms????

I'm 43. For the last 2 years my periods have been getting lighter and lighter.

Then in the last 3-4 months I've been getting a very light bleed, sometimes just spotting about a week before my real period arrives.

Have had it checked out with the doc (hysteroscopy and D&C) and I'm told its hormonal and probably perimenopause.

Thing is, I thought most women appoaching menopause suffered from heavy periods every two weeks or so, wheras I have very light periods and apart from this spotting no other obvious symptoms. My periods are still as regular as clockwork.

Has anyone else experienced anything similar?
