How does your chiropractor correct the upper cervical vertebra at the top of the neck? Does he rotate your head? Does he use an "activator"?
I went to a NUCCA chiro several months ago, and the technique seemed sound to me - no rotation of the head (something that another chiropractor did that caused a bad neck injury and severe pain, which I have still not fully healed from), BUT the NUCCA chiropractor uses x-rays to measure the degree of subluxation, before and after. This is what I didn't like about the NUCCA chiropractors. I definitely do not need any more radiation.
I also refuse to let anyone do a rotary technique to align the bones, but my upper neck is still out of place and needs to be corrected.
