There's something that I've just shared with a fellow PCOS sufferer on email - that I suddenly realised might be helpful to share with the girls online here...
When I tried Slimfast (or Boots own diet drink etc) to try and diet some years back I noticed that I had more regular periods.
I don't know why! Suspect I was getting more of the essential vits&mins that my body wasn't getting from my diet? (or maybe we need more nutrition becuase of our insulin resistance?).
Anyway - thought this was worth sharing with you in case this helps anyone else. (i dont take it as a meal replacement, have one for breakfast with my Special K!)
