Lugol's in vinegar = All Iodide?

I just start learning Iodine and start taking Lugol (first 2 drops this morning). Have been reading this wonderful forum for three days now. Thank you all specially VWT (Victorious Wonderful Team).

I have a question. In Dr. Jarvis’s Folk Medicine, he suggests putting Lugol’s in Apple Cider vinegar, and some honey. I read that acid will react with Iodine (I2) in the Lugol’s and make it iodide. Is this adding vinegar will make Lugol’s actually KI and no more elemental iodine?
