Re: Should the resistor be in line with the negative battery terminal?

"Is it true that I need a certain number of amps to get things started?"

JAB

The Amperage will start out low regardless of what you do because water is a poor conductor without minerals in it.

"I wanted to keep my amps as low as possible (maybe about .25 milliamps) because I read that this keeps the silver particles as small as possible. However if I start off with that low of an amperage, will it take too long?"

JAB

Actually 1 mA is better. It might take a slight bit longer but you don't want higher current. In the beginning current will be low until enough silver gets in the water. Then when the current reaches 1 mA the voltage drops to maintain a constant current of 1 mA.

"Also, what do you know about using H2O2"

"or ozone?" I read that these can break down large particles.

JAB

H2O2 can break down the particles. Ozone is suppose to help the silver penetrate better. I haven't experimented enough to verify.

"However, I'm not using the silver to kill an infection but to repair and regenerate (scar) tissue. Isn't ionic silver the type that does that?,"

JAB
Ionic is the type that will allow stem cells to be formed to heal a wound without scaring. Not sure how well it will work on old scars though. DMSO will help scar tissue fade away. It can also be used topically to dissolve scar tissue. Use a concentration of between 50 and 80 percent, three times per day for several months. External scars will experience a ‘flattening’ effect as the Collagen bundles are loosened.

and would H2O2 (Hydrogen-Peroxid) or ozone change the ionic silver to something else? I believe ionic silver has a positive charge and ozone has a negative charge which would cause the silver ions to change polarity. I'm not sure if H2O2 (Hydrogen-Peroxid) has a charge or not.

JAB

Have not dabbled with either much. H2O2 (Hydrogen-Peroxid) has been known to destroy batches of good silver if you don't know exactly what you are doing. Ozone has no negative effect.
