the juiceman or juiceman jr may be larger (engine) and cheaper, however since I have owned both and yes they did work great and I had my first juiceman for years, they are extremely messy, it does creap all over the counter unless held down. juice and pulp cups don't seal down great thus liquid leaks everywhere, thus I had to use a pan under mine to contain the mess. What I did like about mine was the large juice container, I used mine to can tomatoe juice, but the pulp was so wet that I put the pulp into another pan to boil down the rest of the juice, I could usually get 1-3 more pints of juice from the pulp per container.
