Re: pain in solar plexus area?

The Coeliac Plexus, also known as the Solar plexus, is a complex network of nerves (a plexus) located in the abdomen and close to the lumbar region. Aches is this area is commonly caused by referred pain from the back neck or shoulders often caused by poor posture or stains.

A pain in the 'v' or the ribs can also be a sign of biliary congestion.

It may also be a sign of something more serious but in this case there are invariably other more dominant symptoms.
