Re: Digital T.V. and the end of Analog broadcasting.

The new transition date is tomorrow (June 12, 2009 at 12:30 PM).

I haven't hooked up my converter box yet (bought it without a coupon). While looking on youtube, I found out that there was enough commotion about a TV virus" that the government had to add a notice on the back of the card saying that there is no virus.

This video was posted July 13,.....2008 (before the first date set for transition).

I also assume that each digital TV and converter box will an IP address.

I could not believe my eyes.

I have a friend who is kind of a Conspiracy theorist. He was trying to convince me that the many of the digital TV convert boxes that our coming out have microphones and cameras built into them. Knowing a bit about electronics I bought one of these devices opened it up fully intending on proving him wrong. To my surprise was right. This device has both a miniature camera lens and what looks like a microphone. I was so shocked I took pictures and video Please send this out to every one you know who is using one of these devices.
