Re: Editorial Of Sorts-What Is Support?
No disagreement from me.
Hopinso’s message says it all.
My opinions has always been conservative. Better learn to do short fasts first before proceeding to a marathon fast.
I was “corrected” strongly, when I said that a cup of tea is ok while doing water fast.
One cup of tea wouldn’t have noticeable difference physically on the results of long fast
but psychologically perhaps will.
I have lived long enough to say that when driving long distance from point A to point B it is a good idea to stop on the roadside to rest eyes and stretch your legs and arms for a short time.
That little stop would aid one to arrive to the point B safely and comfortably.
The same approach can be adapted to fasting.
I haven’t followed this Olivia Cohen episode closely, so my comments aren’t aimed to one particular person.
It didn't surprise me to hear about it as I half-expected stories like that to appear. (sadly)
Physically and mentally strong and healthy person can go through long fast any time.
However we aren’t all physically and mentally strong and not necessarily healthy so the advices should be given accordingly.
