Re: --Calcium Dilemma--Sore Muscles, Back Aches, Tight Muscles, Milk Fever, etc--

Could one of the symptoms of a lack of Calcium be a prickly/numb feeling in extremities? Maybe even nervousness?

If so I can see already one of the mistakes that I may have made with my BF. He had for a few years a slight numbness in his legs and left arm. Which in turn over time became a feeling in those extremities of nervousness.

I always made sure that I gave him calcium supp. not sure if what I was giving him was the correct kind of Calcium/Magnesium supps. or maybe I didnt give him enough.
All I know is the worse he got the more he complained about both legs and left arm.

I know that there was a more serious illness in him than most and a bigger underlying problem allot of which are the food choices we made but I was just wondering if what he experienced with his extremities was a part of a deficiency in Calcium.
