"Why was STEAM coming from the sludge???"
Good question! That's a first for me. I've never personally experienced that myself following an enema, nor with clients during the nearly dozen years that I have been practicing colon hydrotherapy.
I'm assuming (hopefully) that the blood in the return was from your period and not from inside your colon. Keep your eyes on your results as your period comes to an end to make sure that was the source.
Regarding the steam from your release, I don't think the grape tomatos or the salsa could have caused this, but I really am at a loss to explain it. I do know, and have personally experienced it, that sometimes while releasing during a colonic, especially as a result of abdominal massage, you feel a pocket of old waste being broken up that releases heat from oxidation and you can feel the temperature all of a sudden go way up as compared with the temperature of the water that was introduced into your colon. On a closed system you can watch the dark waste matter as it goes out through the outflow observation tube a few seconds later.
Perhaps the waste at this temperature could result in steaming, although it wouldn't be detectable in a closed
colonic system. I've just never experienced it from an enema, although perhaps it has happened and I wasn't observing the results at the moment.
Stay vigilant in looking for any more blood in your movements.
Best wishes, Valerie
