Re: repost of unanswered q. from bowel cleanse forum,,,
pj, I get the message. Each of us is unique. There is no best "one solution fits all".
So moving on from there, I was wondering about the leak problem with your Walmart combo set. With many, if not most, combination hotwater bottles/douche/enema sets, there is a small connecter that fits securely on the downside end of the tubing, and the rectal and vaginal attachments either screw on to that, or fit over it. Is it possible you might have overlooked that little piece?
If you would like to suggest a gift to someone special who might wonder what you would like for Christmas, the enema set at
http://www.optimalhealthnetwork.com/product.asp?specific=jnqnloj8 would be a terrific choice. It's not a combination set, but you already have the hot water bottle from the Walmart set, so what you really need is a good enema bag with a minimum of 2
quarts capacity.
That's not such a far fetched idea, no matter how it sounds. A few years ago I had a client who told of a shower she attended, and among the gifts she brought to the expectant mother was a nicely wrapped enema bag. She said when the mother-to-be opened it there was a gasp, and a hushed silence for a second or two from those attending. Then laughter followed for a minute or so, and then she described the justification for bringing it.
She explained how constipation can make pregnancy extremely uncomfortable and create a toxic environment for the developing baby. Afterwards she said her unorthodox gift was the talk of the entire group of attendees, and the mother to be later told her a year later that her gift had turned out to be the most valuable and most used of all she had received that day.
Hope you are feeling better, best wishes, Val
