you may want to sip your drinks several times during day, rather than take all at once???
If you check your urine and saliva pH every time you eliminate, you may convince yourself of the wisdom of this???
Also, taking the drink and eating close together tends to add to your digestive burden, not lighten the load! General advice is to keep drink between meals, especially at first.

Feeling anything from a bit off to exhausted/falling asleep after eating would indicate a definite need for this or a similar option.
