The best enema does not alter your body's mineral balance. It is isotonic. A saline solution is isotonic. After the enema is eliminated, the electrolyte balance of your body fluids should be the same as before you started.

If you feel you need additional Potassium (K), you can get it from a variety of natural foods and juice. A 6 ounce serving of Dannon Yogurt contains 290 mg. of K.

Unsweetened pure grapefruit juice as well as Welches Concord Grape Juice are also excellent sources of K rich foods.
