Pressure relief?

I had tonsillitis a few times, so I had my tonsils out. The Dr. thought this would get rid of the Tinnitus, but it just got worse. It is only in my right ear. If I put pressure below my ear and on the side of my neck, the noise goes away. Does anyone else have this happen? My arm gets quite tired when I try to keep the pressure on for hours! My 80 year old ENT said it will go away in a year or so, but after reading your posts, I am not feeling that one! Tweet
