--answer--Poisonous Side Effects of Elemental Iodine--

Your question: Since I had read this before I was not surprised at what I read but the iridology part I have had questions about....they never got answered in my own mind.

Since I practice iridology, I have looked at my iris many times. I had a red spot in my iris in the area of where I had an operation to remove organs. I assume the area was treated with strong iodine before the procedure.

Even though I did not notice any new red spots forming as I at one time use elemental iodine, I did notice an all-over clouding effect of the iris that was not there before that caused my blue eyes to have a sickly yellowish/beige ting to it. I never understood exactly what that was about other than it was either an irritation to the whole body or it truly was helping to release heavy metals to work their way out of the body.

I may not have formed any new red spots but my thyroid area was slightly darkened with a sign of white irritation halo around it. In time it has gotten better.

I have always wondered if people painting with elemental iodine process it differently than ingesting which may account for the red spots....or did the old timey iodine have something else added that we are unaware of.

I may have dried out my thyroid somewhat and it may have a need for more kelp/iodine than normal. I will see how I do as I add more to my drink. Since I can't have anymore children...my thyroid is my new jewels.

The nice thing is the one red spot I do have is slowly fading away. So apparently just doing what I'm doing helps to clear out toxins/poisons.

Answer: As with most any Poison or Sickness and Disease, it may be Reduced with time and by supplying enough of the Lacking Alkaline Minerals and Live Carbons needed to Buffer the Poison !
