i doubt if they tested anything really. all the birth control is basically the same give or take a milligram of hormone. same drug different day different name.

as you can see at the links below mirena research is on the norplant results and norplant is basically implanon under a new name. they are fully aware of all the side effects combined from iud and norplant are what the mirena sufferers are feeling.
