adding cashew nuts to your diet after a fast?

This depends on the length of the fast................the longer the fast..............the more care in breaking it, especially if genuine hunger has not returned.

A short fast, you could introduce cashews within a couple of days or so, but a longer fast of say 15 to 25 days it is best to wait 5 to 7 days of refeeding before reintroducing them into the diet, as I did after my first fast of 25 days with no digestive problems and no genuine return of hunger.

After saying that, there is a greater need for protein by the body after a fast, especially a long one, so the first months diet post-fast should concentrate a little more on the protein side than the starchy side.
