Re: Yes. Re: anything can be done for a tick bite?

'Great you've got the Echinacea & bentonite! Not great that you can't get garlic down her.

Hmmm, is that (perchance) because the parents don't understand the very seriously/drastic complications of Lyme disease?: In which case I say (well, make that scream) "OMG, jbeefun, Lyme disease and tick bites are VERY serious...and if Lyme develops, your precious daughter could have really really bad symptoms for DECADES"

Or is that because you understand the risks of Lyme disease, but just can't make a 4 year ingest something that tastes bad to her, but that she needs and is good for her?

(I admit it, I'm not a parent - so I don't "get all that" at all. I come from an era where telling my parents I wouldn't take medicine would have either gotten me a major spanking or my dad would have forced my mouth open, shoved it in, and held my mouth & nose closed. That doesn't mean I'm SUGGESTING that, I'm just telling you 'I don't get it' :::sigh:::)

I just know this could be very serious - please don't let your 4 year old make the choice between 'tastes bad' and her future health.

If you can't "negotiate" with her (or use smaller amounts of garlic), then do your best to 'hide it' in some mashed potatoes (or whatever works for you/her) ???

Blessings -
