You might be alergic to this animal. Or you might associate it with a certain person or situation which makes you sick? Poverty?, Dirtiness? a repulsive person or situation?

One you have drean it, I think there´s nothing you can do. But you can learn the message the dream is sending you and avoid those animals, person or situations which might make you sick.
