Inguinal Hernia

1.Can inguinal hernia be made worse by agressive medical exam for hernia?

2. If muscles grow in and around a patch used in repair of inguinal hernia, then why can't bely muscles grow to repair the weakness or tear in the lower abdomin, causing the hernia? Other words, why bother with the repair if body, in time, can repair itself?

3. Has anyone's hernia, to your knowledge, ever healed by itself or by nursing the hernia?
