It's wonderful that you have enough sense of who you are and how you want your life to be, that you know not to act on your attraction to young children. I would guess that most child preditors don't even stop to think about the damage they do to the children or they are so damaged themselves, that they just don't care. They kill the positive potential that child could have been. The preditor just cares about their own next feeling of power by controling and abusing a powerless child. They take their innocense away too soon. I was sexually abused by males and a female starting at age 3 and it had a lasting negative affect on my ability to trust or even see myself as anything vaulable besides a sex object of humans. I hope you find the positive support you are looking for and that you continue to make wise choices that will bring you peace and joy.
