Re: sski dosage for cats and dogs?

Thank you for asking the question - I was wondering that as well, esepcially since I know a few cats that are hyperthyroid and I wondered if the SSKI would help them too...

I was also wondering if the SSKI would help Cushings horses because although they improve on strict diet management (low sugars and starches, plus necessary vitamins & minerals) and pergolide, most are never 100%, or in other words I think more could be done.

I also find that mares seem to be affected more severely and I am thinking this is because of hormonal interactions. Geldings generally fare much better on the treatment regiment and improve a lot more while mares are also more prone to metabolic crashes which are generally expressed in a bout of laminitis (hoof inflammation)......any additional thoughts on that?
