Mixing with patchouli

I'm trying to put together a "custom" scent. An oil blend that's particularly mine. I was thinking a 3-part combination. I LOVE patchouli so I'm 100% sure that patchouli will be ingredient #1, the other two need to be things that would compliment it. I'm looking for something earthy, maybe even a little sweet. Here are some of the candidates I've come up with so far:

Sandalwood - Always good with patchouli but not very original
Nag Champa - Another good combo but sometimes overpowering
Satyr - Combined it with patchouli once and it worked well
Cedar
Egyptian Musk
Vanilla

A website I found listed some good potential combinations with:
Bergamot, Clary Sage, Frankincense, Ginger, Lemongrass, Rosewood, Rose, Sandalwood, Ylang Ylang, Geranium, Lavender and Myrrh.
