Hi Jonsher, I hope this post isn't out of line for the Miracle-Mineral-Supplement forum. I have taken LDN for MS for over 9 years. In my view it is also effective for many other illnesses such as Crones, irritable bowel, cancer and many immune illnesses. At a very low dose 4.5 mg it helps lift emotions as well. LDN covers the receptors and allows the immune system to rest for a few hours each night or early morning. It should be taken at 9 in the evening as at that time the immune system can rest and repair. While the receptors are blocked and resting it builds the chemicals it will use to work the next day. This helps the immune system to identify what is an invader and what is self. In many illness it is thought that the immune system is attacking different parts of the self. In MS one belief is the immune cells will attack myelin causing inflammation, swelling and scars. LDN stopped the advancement of MS for me, and not haveing exacerbations has allowed me to reduce other triggers and use Miracle-Mineral-Supplement to destroy pathogens, toxins and heavy metals. I've used supplements to rebuild the damage done during the time when my MS was active. LDN is one of the treatments which have allowed me to return to a high level of life and health. It is also very inexpensive if you grind a 50 mg tablet and portion 4.5 mg out of that each night. MW
