Decisions, Decisions

Hi Y'all, I need some help and guidance and hope you can help. As some of you know, I have nerve damage from a spinal injury. I have been in a wheelchair for just over three years. My old doctor said as long as I feel pain there is a chance the nerves can regenerate. Trust me friends-at times the pain is almost unbearable.

Anyway, a few days ago a complete stranger heard me talking to someone else and handed me a card with the name of a doctor who she believes can help me. This doctor uses a technique that helps balance the body so the body can heal itself. She promised to bring me a DVD with more information and testimonials. The treatment will cost at least $600.00, not a lot compared to some treatments I've read about, but still a whole lot to me. In a couple of months I should be able to afford the treatments and I admit I'm interested. However, I am also worried this may be just one more disappointment. I would appreciate some opinions, what would you do in my place?
