The above is patent garbage, in my view. Constipation can be due to low water intake, coupled with a low-residue diet. More commonly it's caused by bowel dysbiosis, and anyone can look up the facts on this link.
Constipation is a RESULT, and EFFECT not a cause. It does make disease worse, and some of the passage is therefore correct.
I'd suggest that improving bowel ecology and increasing water intake will eliminate constipation. That also is supported in the
Science on inulin supplements and inulin-containing food, which is plentiful on my website below. Works for diarrhea too, and IBS, candida and IBD.
