Welcome to our forum!!!

The things I found is that the more I studies Sufism the more close I became to my creator and the more power I felt and the more visions I saw. I sought to be close to Allah and within a few weeks I felt closer than I had in 16 years of Sunni Islam. I calmed down, I worshipped more and I slept better.

The basic Sufi does zikr with the Sheik in the morning prayer and after magrid. He also does lots of dikr throughout the day. See the link at the top of the page where it list a suggested daily routine. It is listed under FAQ

This also tells the mannerism in doing the dikr. There are over 40 tarakats and you do not have to follow this one but many. I also love the Qadiri Shadhili, but there is also the Chishtiyya, Nagshbandiyya (listed on the link), Mujaddiyya, Tijaniyah, etc. These are the major ones.

Here is a link to some more.

Sufism is not just for Islam. There are some who practice Sufism but who are not Islamic and some who are Shiite. I suggest you do a thorough check of the tarakat before joining. I know Sheik Nazim of Cyprus follows the Sunni way
His link is:

and as does Sheik Hazim of Jordan who is Qadiri Shadhili.

This forum does not follow one specific tarakat although I do have my favorites and we will be writing on all of them.
What is good for me may not be for you. You must ask Allah for guidance to the Sheik that speaks to your heart.

What does the religion of the heart mean?

Welcome to our forum.  I hope you will enjoy the information here and hope that Allah, Subhanuhu Wa Ta'ala will bless us both.

SUFISM & SUFI ORDERS IN ISLAM

Sufism - The Way of The Heart

Sufism is known as the Way of the Heart, the Way of the Pure, the Mystical Path of Islam. By whatever name it is called, it is the path which takes the seeker to the Divine Presence. In essence Sufism is a means and a way by which the seeker will move from the gravity of his or her lower self, to ascend, with the assistance of a mystical guide, and through the methods and practices defined by the Way he or she has chosen, to the state wherein the Vision of God is presented to her or him. The ways to God are as numerous as the breaths of mankind. Each individual person has his or her own, personal and private way to the Divine Presence.

What does Mystic mean?

The Mystical Path to the Divine Presence

Among human beings, there must always exist those, whom through Divine Grace, have received their Trusts from God in this worldly life. They move about in the world as if they were part of it, yet inside, their hearts and souls are in the Divine Presence. If they ask of God, their request is accepted, and if they look at mankind, it is always with the eye of mercy to those less fortunate than themselves. They are known as the Friends of God, called Awliya in Sufism. It is Sufism which is related to them and they are product of Sufism.

You will find that you are more and more in tune with Allah's way thru peace and light. The light will draw you in to a brighter and more wonderful way to be. It will transform you in just a few short lessons.

Make sure you do nothing haram and everything by the sunnah. What Allah has decreed is what we practice and no other way.

Some do the dancing and music and some do not. I do not. I believe in practicing the Sufi ways in just exactly how Allah has decreed. Each tarakat has their own rules and you will love your sheik and he will guide you so choose one where you feel the most comfortable.

Don't want to be Sufi and only want to learn peace then that is possible too. Listen to the sermons, follow the guidance and be a better all around Muslim as I have chosen for myself.

I hope this forum will provide you with the peace and light you so choose.

I am not looking for a debate forum here so all debaters will be sent to the debate forum or deleted. This is a religion of love and Joy and happiness but as we must understand that there will be many who disagree and many who are shocked but we are here to help those who truly want to learn.

The forum is just for Sufism and no other topics except what concerns Islam.

God bless you all and may Allah bless all of us.

I ask Allah to bless me, my parents, my son, my ex husband who died and my family with what he desires and remember us all on Judgement day. The work I do here is not for the dunya but for the hereafter.

Salam Alekum,

SARA
