Re: Does this sound like a parasite to you guys?
>>but I know I don't have the "acid reflux" condition. My symptoms are far-reaching and beyond the esophagus to the point where it also effects my lower bowels.
I don't know if you need this symptom for HCL difficiency.
You could get a lot of symptoms because of to few HCl.
>>Acid indigestion is what the doctors tried to sell to me as a diagnosis at first before doing all the tests and trialing me on different pills to see how I responded, until they finally concluded it wasn't that. Big pharma likes to sell a lot of antacids from anything to a red throat to a cough.
Doctors don't know that you could have symptoms of to few HCl then to much.
>>But I agree the low acid could be one of the issues. I'm thinking more along the lines of
parasites though. Perhaps
parasites causing low acid? If that's possible.
You say that right, one of the issues. There are often more issues and you have to treat all of them.
You could get quickly
parasites when having to few HCl (it's in the symptoms list), so it is indeed possible to also have parasites. You have to test for this.
>>Edit: I also read at the bottom of that document that some people have to take HCI as long as they want normal digestion. Does this mean one has to take it for life? I mean if I've had this since I was a kid I would be able to accept that, but this all just happened one night, I was fine, then bam. I'd think there has to be a way to reverse something that came on so fast.
Mwah... I've read the stomach will produce probably more HCl and you can lower the dosage after a while. I don't know if it is always like this, but often I think (just a thought). Maybe your HCl level was low and you've got a
parasite infection for example. Or something else? You have to do tests.
