What's the TRUTH?
Having dealt with candida for more than 10 years, having it come and go, but the last 4-5 years being severe, I've read tons of things, taken tons of supplements, antifungals, done liver flushes, zapping etc. I still have candida. Granted my case is severe as I inadvertently absorbed cat
Antibiotic through my skin for 3 years every day, long story, vet and pet pharmacy didn't warn me of the potential dangers.
Some say, we are designed to eat fruits and veggies, i.e., digits for picking. It makes sense. Perhaps we were never meant to cook or eat meat, but raw only and obtain fat through nuts, etc. Others say, no, stick to a candida diet, which I have been for 3.5 years. I've been on the "cave man" diet, which anyone who has been on it knows, it basically sucks.
So, pardon me but, WTF? I realize there are underlying things, thyroid, adrenals, usually liver and digestive issues, leaky gut and perhaps it is as simple as "we are all different". But, it seems that there MUST be some continuity to overcoming candida.
Knowing there is more than one "truth", what is your opinion?
