The Shape of the Elements
These are the shapes of the elements which are used to strengthen and enhance the stars in Feng Shui.
Wood is long, like wood planks in the floor, tall vases, etc. The material of the long item does not matter; it is the length which represents wood. Like the trunks of trees.
Fire is pyramidal in shape. Like cones, pyramids, or even triangles in mobiles or in paintings.
Earth is square. Like ceramic tile, square planters, etc. The ancient Chinese saw his part of the Earth as square.
Metal is round. It could be a round plate on a wall or a gazing ball made of glass, etc. When he lay on his back and looked up to Heaven, it was always moving and round in appearance.
Water is curvy, like waves. Like ribbon which has been curled with a pair of scissors rubbing over it. Curvy shapes in a painting or the wavy top of a headboard, etc.
The shape is very powerful in Feng Shui. It is the most powerful before the colour and the element itself.
