In general the best room color as per directions are,


East - Light Green.(Element of area -Wood)
West - White or shades of white.(Element of area - Metal)
North - Light Blue.(Element of area - Water)
South - Light Pink.(Element of area - Fire)

Heavy colors do not reflect light.
