It sounds like you are probably secreting too much ammonia through your skin. I recommend cutting back on your protein intake, increasing your water intake, and taking L-glutamine supplements at least 30 minutes before meals to reduce ammonia in the blood.
With the water spring water is the best, not distilled or reverse osmosis. And water bearing drinks like coffee and tea do not count as water. I mean actual water. If you have no kidney or water retention problems you should try to drink around a gallon of water throughout the day.
