Why not make your own apple cider? I started out trying this with a centrifugal juicer. It took lots of apples and kept me pretty busy. I don't think I ever did get to the place whre I had a whole gallon made up. When apple cider is made, I think they use a press and throw the whole apple in. I've been thinking about getting a masticating juicer. They are better for getting all the juice out and keeping the temperature low for the purpose of preserving the plant enzymes. The centrifugal juicer tends to create heat. You can also do wheatgrass juicing with the masticating juicer. I haven't tried this yet, but you can google "masticating juicer" or a website I found that is pretty good is: http://www.HarvestEssentials.com.
