The candles with the 5 element symbols on them are exactly
that - a candle with the symbol of the 5 elements. What are the 5 elements?
Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water.

So, your candles are only one element: Fire.
When you burn them you will experience the element of fire.
Therefore there is no special or magical ritual that
you need to do. It really is just nice decoration.
Traditional Feng Shui is a Science and does not include rituals.

We all have to use caution with items using the
Feng Shui label. It has become such a popular
catchphrase nowadays that its easy to be confused
as to what it really is.

For the environmental analysis, we look at how the Qi flow is affected, how easily it can enter your home or business and look for any Sha Qi or “bad Qi”. Sha Qi can be anything that negatively affects the energy flow or the senses: sight, smell, touch, sound, feeling, etc. For the energy analysis, a practitioner will use the birth dates of the occupants, the date of building construction, and a compass to determine the orientation of the building. Calculations to determine the energy patterns will be made and documented on a floor plan. With this information, an advanced practitioner can tell you about your home’s energy, how with time it will shift and which directions are favorable to you. Remedies to reduce any negative energy and enhancements to promote beneficial energy will be prescribed. These remedies consist only of the 5 elements: Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water. All remedies and enhancements should fit within your decor. The overall objective of Feng Shui is to reduce negative energy and to promote beauty and harmony. It is not about placing symbolic objects, mysticism, or other supernatural forces. Feng Shui strives to create positive results.



Can Feng Shui make me a millionaire?

The Chinese believe there are five influences in our life. They are (in order of importance): Destiny, Luck, Feng Shui, Karma or Good deeds, and Hard work. Destiny is what has been preordained (such as whom your parents are) or the result of choices that you have made up to this point in life. Luck is somewhat more mercurial - it changes at different times. It can be daily luck - you have good luck today and miss a traffic jam. Or it can be longer periods of luck of 5 or 10 years. We cannot control Destiny or Luck. The last three, Feng Shui, Karma and Hard Work, we can definitely affect! Feng Shui is the Chinese earth Science developed to bring people into harmony with the environment. Karma, or good deeds are determined by how well we treat and respect others. Hard Work is very important. The best Feng Shui will not help you much if you are not willing to work for what you want. Now, most Westerners would turn this list upside-down - we like to think that we control our own destinies through hard work. But the truth is that we do not have control over many aspects of our lives. Note that Feng Shui is more important than Karma and Hard Work.
