happydog...
NOW I know why you're HAPPYDOG!!! Because you have such a true giving spirit! You
do the kinds of things that I do...and I am so filled with total joy most of the time, I feel like I could burst. And I'll bet that just like "me"...you don't wait
on birthdays or Christmas, either. I'll bet you're the kind of person that is always sitting on dead ready to fill a need and do it in the kindest and most loving
way. Not by doing big or flashy things...but by working 'from the heart'...and going FOR the heart!
I'm big on motivational, inspirational or clean humorous sayings...and we have a small sign that just says:
FANAFI...Find A Need And Fill It
I've been trying to get OWEN to buy the property next to us...it's a small 2 acre
woods with wonderful paths that lead from that property...way on back to a bluff...
and the paths connect to the next 20 acres that go to the bluff...and it's just
an ideal place for a little cabin...and living a serene life and dreaming and doing. I think he's having
thoughts of possibly moving elsewhere...so, happydog, 'won't you come and be my
neighbor'...we would have so much fun! :-) CREATIVE MINDS UNITE!!!
HEY, that would be a good idea for a forum...creative ideas for giving..for just
whatever....HEY, Spirit!!!!!!!! Giving, doing, and loving...that's healing!
Someone on this thread had the idea of making signs that said, "And they lived
happily ever after"..I have one on our back porch that says..'it's never too late to
live happily ever after"...that's for those hardnose people who come to visit...
that are living the ratrace life and wonder why they're not happy...it's a good
conversation starter to help get on the subject of living the good life. And then,
we have one by our front steps as you walk up...and it's fairly big...and homemade...it says, "This Place Is The Scrapbook Of Our Lives"...and so many people
have asked us where we got that sign...said they'd like to have one. But I saw it
in a garden magazine and just made us one.
Thanks for the great ideas, happydog...you are one of those rare people who knows
it really is more blessed to give than to receive. kathryn
