Re: Kathryn....
Dear Kathryn,
I knew when I read your first posts
last summer that you were a very
special human being. You're filled
with what the ancient Greeks called
"Caritas," the human warmth, the
human caring. You spend many
hours each day Giving Back to your
friends and neighbors, including
your cyber-friends on CureZone. Lots
of posts are filled with helpful
information, Kathryn. But your
long, personal messages are full of
love and compassion and hope. You
inspire confidence in those who
have lost faith in themselves and
others. You know how to connect with
people in a caring way that some of
them have never known before; to reach out and touch people with
wonderful advice and gentle humor.
For me, Kathryn, you personify, you
embody, some stirring words that
John Wesley wrote many, many years
ago. I think these words are posted
on the message-board in your sweet
soul:
Do all the good you can,
By all the means you can,
In all the ways you can,
In all the places you can,
At all the times you can,
To all the people you can,
As long as ever you can.
Thanks for coming into my life with
all your radiant joy, Kathryn. In a
very real sense, we will always be
next-door neighbors. You're never
more than a heartbeat away.
Blessings,
Owen
