I need some advice regarding bad "allergic" reaction.
Hello people,
On Saturday night I started developing hives on my body which were gradually progressing. I didn't take anything for it because I thought they would go away on their own. I ended up sleeping only about 2 hours as they started getting pretty bad. When I woke up Sunday morning, I looked like a burn victim. My whole body was almost one giant hive. The only areas that were free were my hands, feet, and my face. I was drinking a lot of water throughout the day, and didn't really eat because consuming anything other than water seemed to make me break out a little more for awhile. My heart rate was also up to 110 resting, but my blood pressure was fine so I ignored it. I figured it was because I wasn't eating. Throughout the day the hives appeared to be clearing up and were mainly on my limbs.
By the evening it seemed like it was almost gone, and then I started breaking out again, in giant blotches. It was coming back quickly, so I got frustrated and finally decided to take some Benadryl (which I'm not too happy about since I've been drug free since June). I felt some relief from the hives, and took another dose at around midnight.
I woke up at around 6 this morning feeling pretty itchy, had a dry mouth, and my heart was beating fast. I got up to go to the bathroom and when I looked in the mirror my face was really swollen around my eyes and cheeks. It was also all red with hives. My hands and ankles were swollen too. I quickly checked my blood pressure and pulse and my blood pressure was around 161/99 and my pulse was 139 bpm. I went to the ER.
By the time they called me in, my pulse had dropped and my BP was lower. While I was waiting for the doctor on the bed, the hives started going away a little. I went to the bathroom and had a bowel movement, which was great because I hardly went on Sunday. They ended up giving me Pepcid and Claritin.
It has been about 6 hours since the ER and my hives are pretty much gone, although I still feel mildly itchy, and the swelling it still going away. My heart rate is still elevated (100+), and my BP is slightly high also.
I haven't done anything out of the ordinary, so I don't know what caused that reaction. The only thing I can think of is that I am doing a Humaworm round and am about halfway through, so perhaps Humaworm stirred up things inside too quickly for my body to handle? Is it possible that I've developed an allergy to Humaworm itself, even though I've done a round in the past which went smoothly, and I haven't had any real problems for the past 15 days of it? I haven't taken any more Humaworm since these hives started, and would like to continue, but I'm not sure how wise that would be. I don't want to go into anaphylaxis and be loaded up on more drugs or worse, end up dying.
I made a post yesterday about what happened and how I suspected Humaworm was related (

).
This morning the theory I came up with was perhaps a lot of "toxins" were released from my body due to Humaworm, and it ended up poisoning me because I wasn't having enough bowel movements to get rid of it. Just a wild guess, but I wonder what would have happened if I had done an enema, or even a
Liver Flush and an enema.
Is it a bad idea to do a
Liver Flush while I still have allergy meds in my system? What should I do if I do a
Liver Flush now, or in a few days, and it releases the toxins causing all these hives and other problems again?
In any case, does anyone here have any advice or suggestions? Anyone with similar experiences?
