You are confusing two different things here. Structural components vs hormones. The Wilson glandular does not contain any hormones, these are removed. The female case you are referring to could easily be caused a a deficiency of other nutrients necessary for the adrenal steroid cascade or a P450 liver enzyme deficiency etc. You have no proof that adrenal glands atrophy when they are fed hormone free glandulars.
