Re: Side Effects

First of all NEVER take magnesium oxide. It is poorly absorbed and when it comes in to contact with water it forms magnesium hydroxide. Hydroxides (OH) will neutralize stomach acid, which will cause all sorts of health problems. And hydroxides are also very caustic. In fact they are some of the strongest free radicals known. Hydroxides chemically burn tissues leading to an increased risk of cancer. Stick to acidified forms of magnesium. Magnesium malate is my favorite followed by magnesium citrate.

And yes, it could cause the dizziness at least if it brought your blood pressure down too low. Although your symptoms could also be from your medications. Side effects sometimes take time to occur. Start by having your blood pressure checked.
