Someone's arms around your head, not touching. Dh did it for me by chance, when we knew nothing about it.
Lots of water, perhaps warm. Bless your water, just in case.
Exercise your arms, one leg at a time, wiggle your toes. Stretch, even just for a moment or two. Or, sequence all the muscles from your toes to the top of your head.
Plan something you love. Let yourself get into it just for distraction. See how long you can stick with it.
Exhale, gently and slowly, on any exertion. The next inhale can't help but be full, and the oxygen from it will go directly to the muscles flexed. Old yoga trick.
See if you can make the exhale longer and slower than an inhale...relaxing.
When you want to sleep, smile, and direct your excess thinking energy to the nerves around your navel...the 'body mind'.
Fresh fruit and veggie juices are good...maybe dilute a little with water.
Turmeric, look it up.
