Re: What else we were growing up with in the 60's

JM, have you looed up the downwinder stuff from Hanford, I know you must have, but it nailed everything from Las Vegas to St. George on one side up to the Columbia River on the other. That's just plain straight radiation release, over and over again from Hanford. How much iodine are you taking?
The best way to protect yourself from radiation is iodine. I got interested in taking iodine in the first place because we are close to a rather poorly run neuclear plant, actually not in the prevailing wind pattern, but good bless the south, sometimes people just don't get around to doing their jobs. Not that they do their jobs it anywhere else either, but if I had money to bet, I'd bet against the one I'm near. (rumor has it that the one in Jacksonville caught on fire because the neighboring fertilizer plant had an explosion and it got covered up, who know!!!!!!)
I think I've finally reached close to having enough, no more lumps in my boobs, I've been using it to paint my miserable sore knee, and now it takes about a day for the iodine to fade, it used to absorb in about 15 minutes. this is after (almost at least a year) working up to between 100 to 300 mgs a day- I was using 5% and counting drops, now when I do it, I use 2% lugols and squirt in two droppers full. I know since I've been doing the iodine painting, I'm using even more than I used to with nothing but good results.
It has helped a lot to do the high doses, but the detox was just amazing. I grew up in LA, who knows what they dumped on us.
I will say, the first day I pained my knee heavy, I got quite a buzz.
Julie
