In Need Of A Cleanse?

Hey Guys,
I can't tell if I need a cleanse or not. The main problem is that my nails have vertical ridges which I am pretty sure is associated with the kidneys not letting me absorb the nutrients I need. Which in turn has caused my hair to start to thin at a very young age. So I don't know if I need to cleanse or not. Because I don't have any pain or anything. If I don't need a cleanse is there anything else I could do to correct this problem and get healthy nails and my old hair back again?
