Some things you can safely try, and see if they make a change. The dandelion has been used extensively for years, but most of us took it out of our diets, if you look it up it has many benefits, and they show you how to get the root yourself, if need be, from your own yard, or I'm sure you could look up a site that sells it. Whichever way, it's worth a try. I've seen other sites giving opinions, where other cancers were cured from this as well. I also think the leaves are very beneficial, I highly recommend that everyone do a search on the topic and check into it.
